Saturday is a special day.....

I went to the farmers market again today, it's not quite as much fun by myself but it was neat to walk over there and look around. There was still lots of non-traditional farmers market stuff but this time there was lots of fruits and veggies and jams and things like that. One of the booths had herbs and things and they had some mint that they had just picked or cut or something because it smelled so yummy!!
My favorite bakery was there again so I got my yummy pumpkin bar for breakfast, I justified it because I walked to the market, ok it's not very far but still I walked.

Today is bananas b-a-n-a-n-a-s

I just had to post this to see if I'm the only one. I've eaten a banana for breakfast 2 days in a row now and they make my mouth and throat itch I've noticed....is that wierd?

it worked

Well, I used the stain for the other project on the bookshelf and it looks really cool. At least to me, maybe just because I don't want to take it apart but I think it works.
You know that good day when you're sitting there waiting for church to start and the cutest guy in the ward comes over and sits with you and tells you you are gorgeous, yup, me neither. That was totally not today by the way unless you replace cutest with wierdest. Nice but holy cow he's odd. He did tell me I looked pretty but the major problem I have with him is that we were both at a friends house for a pot-luck sort of thing and I was in the restroom (always lock the door, read futher for why) fixing my shirt under my skirt, girls will understand this, you know how you have to pull your skirt up around your top so you can flatten the shirt underneath. Well I was doing that and mister wierdest opens the door!!! It's a bathroom for goodness sake! KNOCK!!! Anyway I debated staying in the bathroom the whole night but decided to suck it up and come out. I was gonna just pretend nothing happened but as I go into the kitchen to see if I could help he's standing there and don't worry he says "don't worry, I didn't see anything". Oh my gosh! Kill me now.
Anyway this went differently than it started out but then again it is 11pm which isn't that late really but I've noticed that I wake up earlier now that my bedroom is upstairs in my new place. My room at the old place was in the basement where the sun was never an issue. It's nice to wake up to bright sunlight, just not before 9 on the weekends.

Update

Ok so according to Amy my fans have been left hanging, sorry about that. My toe is not broken, there is really cool bruise on the toe and on the bottom of my foot though, I'm pretty proud of it.
It's pretty sad when 2 of your friends go out of town and you're bored out of your mind!! I'm not telling you which two friends because I know the kind of crazies who read this and I don't want to be responsible for any roberies.

I built a bookcase last night, not from scratch or anything it was from a box but it looks cool. The only problem is that the bottom piece is upside down so you can see the unfinished part but I didn't really notice this untill I'd set it up and loaded it with books and knick knacks so I'm debating on weather it's worth fixing. I have some stain I bought for another project that I think I'll try that first.

Moved In

I was going to be all cool and take pictures of the move so I could post them but that just didn't happen. We had lots of nice friends come over and help load and unload the U-Haul so it was all into and then out of the truck in just about 4 hours which is amazing when you see how much stuff Amy and I have. I thought it would take way longer but Amy thought about that long.....I hate when she's right! Anyway I just want to say thanks to all my wonderful friends who helped out loading and unloading and especially Kelsey for helping to get the kitchen in working order! That's all for tonight, I'm exhausted and still sore from all the moving and I think I might have broken my toe on the sliding glass door.....I'll let you know tomorrow if i can move it.

Being nice

Ok so I'm a jerk! I was complaining about my roommate causing a flood and how we had to clean it up and all that and I get home last night and she bought me a thank you present of new towels for being so nice! That was really sweet of her, no more complaining for me.......I'll try anyway.

The Move!!

It's finally official! I'm moving next saturday so if you don't have any plans........
Also, it would be nice if before someone was rented an apartment if someone made sure that they knew what a plunger was and how it is used!!

Monday

What a Monday today. I was in a good mood untill I got to work and everyone else was not in such good moods, oh well it made me keep to myself and get my stuff done. It got better when i got home and started packing. It looks like I wont move till next week because the landlord is putting in new carpet and painting which is wonderful!! Amy and I have been trying to get the landlords at our current place to paint for the last 4 years!! It makes me happy that we're moving soon and that we have time to get packed in an organized fashion.

Happy June

I thought I'd post again just so I could say I did it two days in a row. I had fun today at the blessing of Kelsey's babies and the luncheon after. It's always fun to be with her and her extended family.
Amy and I are going to live in the other half of the duplex that Kelsey and her family live in so when we were there today we went over there and checked out the space again and figure out where we want our furniture and things.....that's all the excitement for tonight.
My goal is to be as interesting as Kelsey's Blog and as funny as Catherine's....not there yet but I'm working on it.
